11 starters, 4 "finishers" (only 3 of which drove the whole run)

Won by the boys in the Bremer 4x4 Hilux on boggers. I'll post up the top 3 when I have confirmed with Shane (trip organiser).

Thanks to all that attended. Turned out to be a late night, I think I got home around 4:15am!! :shock ...

OK, cool. No worries mate. I may have one lined up that's already adapted to a th700, but it's in sydney. I'm hoping the guy is going to Woodpecker. If so, I will get him to take it to the event, and see if yourself or Brett can grab it for me.

Are you thinking this might be the way to go bubs? Certainly looks pretty easy. And, the front shaft is on the right side for the 75 housings.

Marsk's dont list any gear sets for the MQ box.

Wasn't some of the early F100's remote transfer too?

It's going into a hybrid.

Main car = CJ6 Jeep. (101" wheelbase at the moment)
Engine = V6 VN Commodore
Gearbox = TH700-r4 (out of V6)
Diffs = 75 Series Landcruiser (to be on custom coil setup)

Length shouldn't be too much of an issue. How much extra length am I looking at with the remote setup?

If I were to use one of these remote transfer cases, what would I need to do? Do I still need an adapter plate? Or, just get a small jack shaft manufactured? If it is just the shaft, can I just use the original shaft that came out of the donor commodore, and ...

Thanks guys, awesome info. I've never had much to do with this sort of thing. My last conversion was all sorted for me by Rod Hadfield at Castlemaine Rod Shop in Vic. I emailed him with this one, but haven't yet heard back. So, thought I'd pick the OL brainstrust.

TH700 -> transfer case adapters

I have a TH700 auto that I need to mate up to a transfer case of some description. What is the cheapest option? I know Marks Adapters does a kit to GQ transfer for $970, but was hoping there might be a cheaper option out there.
It doesn't bother me what transfer case I use, as I will just buy one to ...

I was speaking to the boss of the company that was the naming rights sponsor of our club's major event, this weekend just gone, and his suggestion was this... As an "event sponsor", he feels that if all competition organisers set it in their rules, that each vehicle must have a 'reserved' section ...

It is now. Law was changed a number of years ago.

Just to clarify, I would allow the spring over in the Logan Challenge, I can't speak for other competition organisers.
