you say the water ran down the a piller?
the main loom from the motor might go through the fire wall in that area
so pull the glove box out and cheak in behind there, you might find a couple of big plugs there, pull them apart and look there
p.s im no 100 series expert so the loom might ...

i had a good look at them, they have got the daihatsu "D" stamped on them but if yours look the same thats great.

Help identifying wheel

I'd love some help identifying this wheel it came on a ute i got from the wreakers and I'd like to find two more of them
but the guy from the wreakers doesn't know what it's come of, so any help would be great.
I have also put this in the dihatsu section, just thought it may be a Suzuki wheel?

try looking at the inlet manifold gasket. with car running spray carby cleaner or simalar around the gasket if
it revs up or revs better.its stuffed the gasket that is.

a mates bro had 1 with a vn v6 and hilux box. went well and parts are easy to find, and them v6's are very reliable. that one also had hylux diffs so dont know if it would work with stock diffs, offsets of centers ect.

yeah get in there and do it i say. you will find that if u want to change the
coolant at the same time pull the radiator out that will give u more room to work ,and u can see stuff better and give it a clean while its out. when its apart check the ideler pullys by spinning them and listening for ...

sounds like your ind. stalk is giving up cos both your problems are linked back to the stalk. plug in a diffrent one to see if it is the problem. just an idea.
