1HDT.........4.2L Factory Turbo Diesel, 5" lift, 305's (33's), 3" Exhaust, pump tweaked, driven normally, around 11.8-12L/100k. Giving it a bit of a hard time 13L/100k Goes awsome and economical for a truck of its size!

Yeah thats what I thought but a mechanic I spoke too wants to open up the diff... :oops:

It sounds the same as when I destroyed a wheel bearing on my old trusty bj42..

Gday fellas

My main rig is a turbo diesel 80 however..

The Bundy has developed quite a loud consistent rumbling sound when driving, irrespective of speed/gear and or acceleration and deceleration.

Just back from a trip up the coast in the Bundy...Myself and the missus, fully loaded with camping gear and booze :P . Did Melbourne-Batemans Bay and some track driving and all that with camping at a few spots along the way...sat on 100kms on the highway with the aircon on...

Hmmm....Having been the proud new owner of a 22r Bundy (well the girlfriend is so that sorta makes it half mine :lol: ) to complement my existing 80 series, have just gone through the first tank of juice. Doing only city driving, very rarely gone above 80 and LOTS of stop start driving with the air ...

Yeah the big ends were done before I bought it, Toyota had the records. Keeping my fingers crossed on a valve problem..Its just running way too well these days..!! :lol:

I hate to say it but my driving habits didnt change at all. On my car with my driving it worked, simple as that... For some other vehicles it may not work as well but for an old diesel which needs some help, it worked... :cool:

guys I had one on my cruiser and it worked..Naturally aspirated diesel went from 13/100k to about 11.5/100k... Dont think it would work on anything turbocharged but I think it depends on the rig...just my thoughts...cheers...Dave :lol:
