i was at ag-quip in gunedah and a fellow there (with a nice yellow zuke) was selling 'climax' 'drop shcakles' (is that the right term?) you pull a pin for 'off road' and replace the pin for on road... he claimed these were legal (in nsw anyway) does that sound right?

at this point in time im thinking coil conversion... or spoa at the least (if it was good enough for my lux then it has to be good enough for a suzuki!) i for whatever reason dont want to body lift if i dont have to... there is something very "un-engineering" about block of alloy under the body :lol ...

i broke a series 3 with 33's they did cop a floggin but for 1200 or so u expect them to last a bit longer i still run a rockhopper now with the 37's it gets wheeled in rocks and is driven every day and they have held up luck of the draw i guess from the outside looking in... should a $1200 purchase ...

ive got a np did... i cry if it uses more than 10l/100km around town... and if it dosent fall to around 8.7l/100km out of town i wonder why if im in open country sitting on ~120km/h i wont fill up untill 900km comes up on the trip meter - that generally has given me a 75-80l fill up of the standard ...

thanks for that... i would have thought that the IRS rear would be a quick swap - especially if you got the whole thing... that is at least if its like the old datto 1600 (etc) a diff swap was not such a big deal - hence the idea of the factory rear sounds "easy"

i think a rear would be more useful, if you've pitched the front in the air its better then even bet that both rears are on the deck for pushing duties + thats where most weight will be if you've got a load on board... but... i was more interested to find out if the factory locker was "any good ...
