yep i just followed the instructions on the page, noce and easy mod. I DID NOT do the WIDENING part of the mod. because i'm lasy i just turned the flower/cage bit of the CV around so that it didn't rub when at an angle.

Tommorrow i should be putting my hilux CV's in, i hope :)

yes, grap that too. I'm running a complete GV and arb locker in the front with the mod to run the same cv/driveshaft both sides. i was braking a cv every 3 to 4 trips. after the hilux cv mod this should be a thing of the pass :)

the drivers side stub axle? just use something the leaver it out, watch the seal.

For the other side a big hammer, a few hits and it should pop out.

is it the facelifted model? if it has the alloy front diff it will break pretty easy off road with just bigger tires, the later ones are steel so much better rear axles are weak if you fit a locker and get too excited with em as well Manuals are always steel front housings. have looked at it for my GV, anything above 35mm and things start getting messy. steering shafts, fuel lines, clutch line, shifters, strut brace, etc. So I just ended up making room in the guards for my 31's. how the hell did you get 31"s under yours !?! i can barely squeeze 245/70/R16's !! AT's ...

in the GV's the front driveshafts spin ALL the time unless you have manual hubs. the front pump used 4-8psi to engage the front diff.

A ARB airlocker will bolt straight into your model rear diff :)

they are 12 bolt, just remember in 2003 they changed the center and ring gear to a larger size.

the rear is easy for pre 03 GV's any vitara locker should work.

Are you able to provide more information on what is required. From experience ARB have told me that the Vitara DIFFS & Grand VITARA Diffs are different. Ithink the GV diffs are slightly larger in the rear. this happened in 2003. what i did for mine was get a complete rear vitara 3rd with 5.125 R/P ...

A vitara Airlocker will bolt straight into the rear of your GV.

I had front and rear ARB airlockers in my 03 GV.
