H260 gearing options??? 3.7s/3.5s?
I currently have a h260 in a chopped gu wagon with a 6.5 turbo diesel v8 and am wanting to change gearing to increase fuel economy and top end speed. My vehicle came out with 4.3s and previous owner has changed them to 4.1s. I have done a fair bit of searching and cant seem to locate any specs or ...

Re: 6.5 chev after market turbo
hey mate dewars sell both turbo manifolds and turbos to suit these motors. I would give them a ring i think there reasonably priced also. Depending on what the motor is in you should be able to run your standard manifold on non turbo side and just run crossover pipe to suit. Definitely worth doing ...

Re: Gu gearing options h260
Simcoe, I barely noticed the onroad difference between 33s and 35s on my car but it's only running 3" lift so not overly high. I think the easiest/cheapest option would be swap/sell ur tires and get 35s. I had 33s and ended up swapping with a mate who had 35s and was getting hassled by the po-po as ...

Re: Gu gearing options h260
Hey mate I'm also interested in doing similar as I have a h260 behind a diesel v8. I'm running 35s but still feel I could push better gearing easily as it gets along well. I haven't had much luck in searching for 3.9s for the h260. I no Brunswick do 3.9s in some of there conversions but guessing ...

Re: Landcruiser HJ61 12HT
Hey mate if the ks are true and it's in really good nick it's probly close to the money. Obviously other things like suspension, accessories, and service history would also influence price. The 12ht motors are pretty bulletproof and if the g'box has been rebuilt u would expect a good amount of ks ...

Re: 6.5 chev onto tb48 auto?
A 4L80e is also another option as they are a good auto and came out in production behind 6.5s. marks make an adaptor from 4l80 to nissan transfer and then u would have to run a standard controller or a standalone aftermarket one. If set up properly would be a good swap, especially when towing
