G'day Barnsey, I just sold mine with the same set up, I was getting 300 kays around town and up to 550 hwy kays so long as I keep it under 100kph Thanks Rob. Not the best range then. Doing a trip Townsville to Perth via Boulia, Alice Springs, etc soon......might need to take a few jerry cans not to ...

Timbo, Mine runs down the side to the front and yeah I agree it looks pretty average. I wanted to do what you plan on doing but I have my dual battery right there where the charcol canister (i have relocated it to the drivers side) used to be and its very tight. maybe if you relocated the radiator ...

I just bought a TJM Airtec for my 02 r9 V6 I paid $500 bucks at bars and racks, I was going to install it my self but the hole saw alone was $110 so for $180 they can do it.
