by welding you heat affect the chassis. makes a weak point.
do you really want to do that to the main part that holds your car together ??
talk to an engineer. that way when your sliders brake off and rip the chassis rails apart you can blame him for the cost of a new car.

i'm with you BADMAV on those suggestions.
but since your only allowed 2 inches of lift in QLD if you have 3 inches of lift and have a crash then "TECHNICALLY" your car is unresistered. because it is outside of the laws of registeered vehicles.

maybe look at the maxxis 751 bravo
i have run them in a 31x10.5x15 and they were great. so much so that i went up a size 33x12.5x15 at $255 a tyre. the MT 4 ribs were $300 a tyre and the 5 were $310.
use them every day on road. playing at 4x4 parks. fraser and moreton. never had any problems ...

Guys i have a 90 GQ patrol wagon.
nothing to flash. 2 inch lift and 33's (AT's) - still have front and rear swaybars. suspension is only 18 months old. lovell springs, dobson shocks.
