Anybody know of a way to upgrade 24v 25A alternator to anything better? Other than buying 24v alt off of a truck and having to adapt..read "project"?

repeat the test but rotate over 10 revolutions,will give a more accurate reading than 2 and a bit.Always ensure rear axle is on axle stands on a level surface and both front wheels are chocked front/rear before you get under car to spin rear prop.Reckon you'd have 4.625's.Cheers,Mark.

What sort of power requirement would electric brakes have ordinarily? what amps are fused between both wheels?(what are..fuse ratings on either actuator of each wheel?) Would you for example run a separate fuse for either wheel,so in the case of one fuse/wheel brake failing the "good" wheel still ...

Don't weld the chassis,just a plate onto the mount.you should have no problems with the shifters.Only other problem you may have is 4sp usually out of MQ=square connectors for 4wd/rev switches,MK has round connectors-just change the switches.

The 5 speed box is 100mm longer than the 4 speed due to the 5th gear exttension cover.
