one other thing it could be is if you are running a vit air flow sensor, check to make sure that the big 3 inch hose clamps are not done up to tight. if they are to tight it can jam the sensor and not let it pop all they way back out on idle. I put hella 4000s on my sierra. I have an arb bar so it'd be identical to yours. Had to make a custom mount tho. AFAIK the only way is to run twin cases i beleive to do what u want to do.

if u can find a 1L case with 4wd light that may be ok for you about 12% drop overall in high and low.
