i do stockton in 2WD high range where ever i am really except for steep hill climbs. unless im in very soft sand, which isnt very often.. i have a SWB carby vitara on 30's with extractors.

Long wheel base models of the vitara are one of the most stable vehicles i have ever driven. As for comfort wise u will be in heaven compared to the sierra leaf springs. The calmini system is great, though the shocks are horrible. Im currently running a SWB with 3 inch spring, 3inch body and 31 ...

in my carb swb vit ive had my fuel gauge at super empty and it took 39.7L and it was only just running by the time i got to the servo..

pretty sure LWB tanks are slightly bigger

i brought one off ebay for my vitara. i think the brand is pavement ends.
its a bit tight but for 300$ im fairly happy with it. doesnt leak or anything

all fixed!!
i throw a new cable in there.. working even better

it looks like there was no grease where the shoes tough that back plate either. i reken that would have helped a bit.

looked exactly the same to me. one of them was 1-2 mm wider than the rest. would that make a difference?

i brought new shoes and tried to fit them but the hub wound barley fit over them no matter the adjustment, to make the hub fit over i had to tighten the bolts to force it over. so i put the old ones back on and there working fine... very strange......

rear brake draging issues

G'day all

my rear brakes are draging on my 92 SWB vitara

i loosened it off but as soon as i drive it and use the hand brake they start draging again.

any help would be much appreciated
