I dont think they are interchangeable with brands but yes all the kits are essentially the same stuff jetted accordingly.

Get in touch with the aussie dist for your brand and get the right jets, they will only be about $10

Hi guys, Got a 1990 V6 3 litre and I need some help timing it. I know theres an electronic spark advance and apparently this should be shorted but god only knows how I need to do it. I've tried to statically time it and I cant get the bastard to go, I keep hearing a clicking as I turn the Dizzy ...

My main reason for not wanting to go petrol is really the amount of KM's I do

It's a lot less these days but last year alone I clocked up 100 000kms so diesels a lot better in terms of milage for me

They definately sound like a goer from what a lot of people seem to be saying.

Tell me about the Jtop's

I've seen a few of these on the market, a lot in diesel and I'm thinking it's a great car for me to buy next. What are the things to look out for? What are they like on fuel? General performance? Whats the wind noise like with the softtop? General cabin noise from the diesel? From what I've seen ...

No worries mate, when I was looking at dropping a DOHC in another thing I considered was to get some DOCH exhaust manifolds and seeing if I could get them to mate up to the rest of the exhaust or get a pipe fabbed from there back. Would be a lot cheaper then going full custom extractors, ultimately ...

Another thing I would be concerned with could be intake manifold not bolting on to your current one.

However I think you'll find that the intake manifold from a DOHC 24 valve Pajero will fit onto this Mivec engine.

I believe the major differences in Mivecs was CR and cam profiles

If I remember through my research ALL 6G72 blocks used the same bottom ends and the same mounting holes, so if I remember correctly it will mount to your gearbox. I've just fit a magna 12valve where my Pajero 12 valve went, when I say just I mean about 3 hours ago and it fits fine but it's a far ...

Polyuerothane Engine mounts

Hey Guys, Just wondered if anyone's fit these in a Gen 1 Paj V6, my current ones were shot to shit, supercheap auto ordered some Kelpro poly mounts and upon trying to install my engine I find that the mounts are a little bit off on each hole and I cant get them to line up quite right. Yeah I think the only reason the Jimny's no good for me is towing, didn't really put too much thought into that. Having said that I only really tow about 400kg 3-4 times a year. Too poor to go to the race track too often, I have two expensive hobbies now. Motorbikes and now I'm getting into 4x4 ...

Ahhh excellent, probably my major concern was how they handled freeway work. Few runs between Sydney and QLD

Only problem I see with them is it's gonna have a bit of trouble with towing. Do a bit of trackwork with my VFR400 so it's going to be a slow drive to the track with this thing.

Alright so I'm tired of my Pajero and her petrol drinking ways, when you do 800+kms a week you cant afford something that gets 600kms to 90 litres :P The jimny has recently caught my eye and due to me having a soft spot for suzuki's since my first car which was a baleno was sadly written off I'd ...

NG Alternator options

Hi, I've recently picked up a 1990 V6 LWB, after about 10000kms it spat the big end bearing so I'm going to be doing the magna engine swap. I was wanting to get more juice from the alternator, I understand its only 75amp, does anyone have any recommendations on alternatives or if I'm better off ...
