well after about 5 days of wiring and endless night on the net look for wire diagrams and drowning my frustrations with Natty Light, i got the whore running. now i got build my relay board tidy up the wires and have it done so i can move on to getting it road worthy. i still have to plum in the mass ...

well i got the tail housing in the mail its time to take the tranny apart to see if it fits and to find out what output spline count i have.

Which jeep Cherokee is that A340 from and is the adaptor to suit a Dana 300 ??
If not, which transfer does it suit ?


In the Cherokee the tranny code is aw4. to fit a dana 300 you need these parts

ok im back at it but my plans have changed
if i can get the parts cheap enough i might be tring this in my pajero with the T-case im having rebuilding for me. if this works it would allow me to run a yota axle up front
first off ill need to get my hands on one of these tranny to t-case adapters ...

here im sorry i already posted them. still looking for the fuel screw i put a K&N filter and took of the exhaust to install a 3inch turbo back and the 2.8 came alive. the exhaust temp is now below 700.

well today was a short day for me i pop the tire off the rim in the first hole. but made it in with front wheel drive only :shock:
i spent an hour waiting on the right socket to get the wheel off.
now i need to get my on board air working, put the right socket in the rig to get the wheels off. but ...

ive only seen mine get as hi as .7 bar

i have my Exhaust Gas Temperature gauge (or Pyro) hooked up now. im getting ready to change my timing chain after 27tho klicks. so i want to turn up the fuel and boost to 1 bar i run at 800 c now on the the EGT so if i turn fuel and boost to match 800 c on the EGT ill should be safe right. or is 1 ...

oh ya would have to take the bellhousing too. and if this works the 1uz could be swapped in too

more info on the yota tranny in the Pajero. My Japanese buddy to day said it should work. would have to change the tq-convertor, the input shaft, tranny pump and the first set of clutches behind the pump, out of the Pajero tranny into the yota one. Take the tranny ecu from the yota doner and run it ...

ok got the Pajero today and looked under and took pics of the tranny. it is the same as the hilucs/4runner/surf with some differents do to being a Mitsu. now i weighing the pro and cons on just doing the yota axle flip or doing the tranny and axle swap. i think the hardest part is the wireing on the ...

i just got this gauge and boost gauge for my pajero. do i put the egt senser before or after the turbo

what about the tcase only not changing the whole tranny
you think or is there a way for the w tranny behind my 2.8tdi

I have gone solid toyo axle and am not using the mitsi transfer case, I went as far as not even using the gearbox as well.

In Gen2 2 Pajero were 2 types of auto gearboxes:
- years 90->94 - Mitsu type: V4AW2 - Aisin AW372L(A44DL);
- years 94->00 - Mitsu type: V4AW3 - Aisin AW30-40LE(A340F), can be find also in Pajero Sport/Chellenger.

A340F was also in:
- Jeep Cherokee XJ(87->01) as AW4;
- Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ(91->99 ...

no im 1uzin my 1980 mitsu jeep. my pajero will stay 2.8tdi with the sas maybe.
