i pulled my 2.8td harmonic balancer off the other day and found that the key and the harmonic balancer were worn, not badly tho. Replaced the key a bargain at $2.40 but a different story for the balancer, $511 what a rip off but will replace it after christmas, better than paying upto $3,000 for the ...

When i took my 2.8td patrol to berrima in was about 5 years ago.

Berima Diesel was good with injectors but were not to keen to adjusting the electronic injector pump. They did a great job on my dads old GQ 4.2 Plus i recon tuning a diesel on a dyno (cooma diesel) is better than taking it for a spin then back to the workshop adjust then back out again etc etc till ...

GU windscreens

Scratches on my windscreen are driving me crazy.
Who would you guys use??
My insurance company gives me one windscreen per year free of charge.
But just thinkin if i had to put one in (pay for it myself) who i would use. :?:

Thanks for the responses guys
Ill just start putting the pennys away.
Its never had valves looked at and they are a bit tappy.
I have blocked off my EGR valve and it does make a difference.
Also just replaced my viscus fan clutch and what a difference to the power it makes :D .

gu 2.8td fan clutch

Hello guys, My gu 2.8td viscus fan clutch is stuffed.
pulled it apart and the silicon oil is fine, it is just the bearing on the fan its self its locked on. :D
Does anyone know where i can get a second hand one or the price of a new one.
