GU scoop comes white. $80 2. all other parsts are still a month or two away. 3. no dont need to be removable pin at the hinged end but yes at the front. 4. next mould that will be ready are the GU front guards and flare as same part ...

Sorry i havent stayed up to date, works been flat out. where i stand is
1. currently have a GU scoop mould
2. soon to have GU fibreglass front guards(about a month)
3 soon to have GQ bonnet with 2 gu scoops in it

i havent thought about materials ext for the front guards... but id imagine something around $500 a pair. id have to make the parts first. could be less

im looking into some different types of core mats. price may differ... but i want the strength to be there...no pissy little flipperty flap bonnet. unless thats what ya want
but they would be pretty much custom...

down the track im looking at GU. just pulled a bonnet off the mould then.. its strong enough i hit it with my hammer and it didnt dent. happy with the stength :) GQ bonnet looking aprox $500 ball park painted ill start on the guard moulds soon. just a bit of background on me. yes it is a backyard ...

hey guys just a quick question. im starting to make fibreglass bonnets for GQ patrols... with/ without scoops whateva... im considering making a mould for front guards just wondering if there is an intrest for these parts. secondly - would you guys prefer gelcoat or 2pac finnish... Gelcoat is a tad ...

Sealer would not chip off like bog might. but its to do with budget. sealer and pigment is definetly a more expensive way to go.

if it is timber you can sand it back and use a good quality 2 pac sealer eg. Miratone. with a coloured pigment mixted at roughly 15% then cover with a gloss vanish for your glossy look... if not a satin ect ... but make sure its a 2 pac vanish.

Hi Go to you local paint store and ask for some 2pac polyurithane paint. you will need to sand th eentire canopy back until the surface is dull. if there are any chips in the original paint you can bog them up with polyester body filler. once sanded wipe with wax and grease remover, and spray. CSM should be cheaper than 8 dollars a metre. MEKP will blind you within 10 or so seconds of it getting in your eyes,

PPE goggles, gloves ect
