Sorry i'll get down to it. The frontera's aren't that bad. They go alright in the bush but the clearance is woeful. you'll get used to the sound of sliding over stuff pretty quickly. There are some easyish mods you can apparently do to get a bit more height but it ...

had the same prob with the front body mount on the driver side. found that the bolt was actually slightly bent. I found that after bending back straight and greasing the absolute carp out of it the noise went away... I'm impresseed that you found the prob so quick;y took me a good couple ...

A couple of days ago i came across a winch at work which is available at the right price (translate: carton or 2 of beer ) subsequently i have been wondering if i should fit it to the frontera. so here come the Q's, first things first;

Incidentally a gave the no. plate a bit of massaging today. A 60ish degree angle and 2 x 10mm bolts should hold it on.... probably not!!! also made up some stainless plates to cover the exposed mounts... hopefully they don't get torn off. It's probably overkill but ...

Hey, i'm Will, i have a 99 frontera sports. i'm really new to the whole 4x4 thing and i've done stuff all to my truck other than a cd player but the list of mods is growinf by the day. I'm a diesel and heavy machinery fitter working on tower cranes. i don't have any photos yet but i hope to soon.
