In diesel too. 1985 - 1990(?) are the 4.0L (HZ), 1990 and onwards are the 4.2L (1HZ) . Get a 4.2L if you can find one in your price range. As for ...

Its not the most ideal conv as the Nissan pumpkin is further to the RHS and uptravel needs to be limited to prevent the diff pumpkin hitting the chassis rail. They sure do as long as you use the 80 carrier bearings ( 80's use a 50.00mm id bearings 60's use a 45.00mm id bearing but both are 80.00mm OD bearing and the same width ) have done this many times swapping both ways.

The gear box will bolt up to the 1FZ bell housing but the 1FZ/1HDT box has a 14 spline input shaft to suit the larger 300mm (12') clutch (3F is 275mm(11') 10 spline ) The later boxes also have the twin syncro's on 1st and 2nd gears as the early boxes were knochy so they made the mod to make them ...

80UTE, with your solid spacer system, wouldn't they have to be made to suit the individual diff. Sort of, fit bearings, measure, make spacer to suit measured clearance then do final assembly... just asking not being critical. You sure do thats how i make them as it better this way but also a i ...

60 rear disc brakes.

Ive been doing rear coversion on 40's, 60's and 75's for 20 years now. I used various car calipers but the car size calipers had small pistons compared to the crusier brakes. I found the pads would wear out very quickly and not have enought braking force because cruiser's have fairly large bore ...

The main purpose of the torque rod is to stop bump steer with suspension movement. In std trim it matches the steering drag link in length and angle so no matter where the axle moves it does not alter relative to the steering.
