blew my rocky up in a bog hole, parted it out and have a 2010 Colorado now...loved that truck...

Hello Im new to the site. I have a 1991 Rocky and need a new outside drivers side handle. No longer sell parts in the U.S. Is there parts still available in the world? Or do I need to a maschinist.

Wack a turbo on it for the exhaust noise, sadly unlike new cars they are bloody noisey, especially after upgrading tyres etc.

Can't answer any spec's, I bought a second hand 2010 Colarado with 3 inch exhaust vrs mates 2010 Colarado standard exhaust but has been chipped. With mine the turbo spools up much earlier, having driven both it seems to have to have more grunt, siginificantly more. Alas no dyno spec's only gut ...

Have read a bit on the subject, steering shaft extension hits the turbo on the deseils. Some have taken off the heat sheild and filed the turbo to give enough clearence. I heard that his still hits when giving it heaps in the rough though. Brake lines have been fine. Fan shroud are bit fiddley but ...

thanks, just read in the manual you need a special tool to measure the pressure and shim the nozzle accordenly to get the same injector pressue on each,. now just have to tell the wife

I was going to do it but I don't drive it often as I walk to work. I'm guessing that was $60 per nozzle. I have seen a set of 4 brand new for $129 on ebay. ($12 postage erk) Is this a fair price??

It doesn't feel like it has full boost compared to accelleration in 3rd 4th 5th. I will look into it tommorrow as I have a day off.
It has a blocked injector, that doesnt help either

other wise buy a thermo fan.

Tabrocky gave me great info about a mod that allows you to have full boost on a TD in 1st gear. I have been scoring over my measages and posts but can't find the info that I need.

This all said and done I transplanted the TD into my tray and what a difference, especially in the higher gears ...

Have you checked your body mount bolts/nuts

did the same, problem fixed. Do the drive shafts while your at it.

I hacve heard when you change the gearbox oil replace 100 ml with auto trans oil and this helps.

Mates telling mates so take it with a grain of salt. You never know
