89 lux ln106 , 3L gearing help needed please
My 89 3L has a 3 inch leaf sprung kit and i am adding 33 x 12.50's Im running 31's at the moment. I was wondering if it is nescessary to change my gear box or diff gearing to keep the torque ? If so anybody able to point me with all around good gearing ratio for these size tyres?

i have had my bridgestones 31's running on 33 psi and i seem to get a decent amount of k's out of it. I will try running a higher psi 36 - 40 and see what that does for me im probably getting around 10/ 100k's at the moment maybe closer to 11.. steering is manual and all stock and orig on my 89 so ...

ya for now its a daily driver :oops: ..... i should be fine running the 33x10.50's i was thinking BFG mud terrains or A/T's but the road noise on the mudders suck.... i would love to lock it front and rear but since it is a daily driver a lockrite autolocker in the rear would destroy the tires and ...

its 2.8 3L diesel.... yah i would love to get the 35's but i can still do quite a bit with the 33's .. went to local 4wd shop in perth and got some quotes on the 2inch lift with 2 inch body lift... im looking at reconditiong the motor as well as new transfer case and cluth... I currently have 31" bridgestone desert duelers on my hilux and i was wondering with a 2 -3 inch lift would i be able to run 33's ? other question is would it be bad for my drivetrain components to run the 33's ? As far as i know all gearing and diff's are stock same with driveshaft.... I would like ...

thanks bud i will will look into taking it back to get it replaced if i had all the tools i wouldn't mind doing it myself but just moved out to AU a few months ago from the states ..... love it here... soo much off roading to such little time... if only i could afford som diff locks!!!.... speking ...

hey just had a few questions i recentley baught an 89 dual cab hilux SFA 2.8 3L HAD ABOUT 344,000 km's with a rebuilt 291,000 km engine looks clean. just sprayed new tray and interior for 4000$ AU.. Although it has a clicking noise.. dunno if it is the injectors or what but i just had it serviced ...
