thanks that helps heaps i have a donor vehicle my old car got writen off its a 91 4.2 and i was thinking of getting a auto 93 gq with petrol and just swopping it over as mine only had 180 on the clock

help PETROL TO DIESEL engine swap

Hey

Can anyone tell me what is involved in swapping a petrol motor from a GQ PATROL to a diesel GQ 4.2. Will it match up to an automatic box or swap auto to manual?

also its on gas any problems due to that

patrol injectors

well its time to get new/reco injectors for my 4.2 diesal patrol
not really sure on where is a good place to get some from as never done them before, if anyone could suggest some places would appreciate it as blowing heaps of black smoke.
been looking at a mob on ebay but not sure if anyone else has ...

hey the engine is running sweet again it has normal power back and is running better than it did before not as ruff, exhaust seams to be normal sound 2

HELP SUCKED IN WATER

hey i have a 91 gq patrol diesel 4.2 i sucked in a fair bit of water on the weekend, it never stalled but still runs, it has losted power is there anything i should do before i keep driving it
