yeah i had a float problem on my sierra aswell. but on the vitara the float is all plastic and cant be adjusted but it seemed to close the seat before hitting the top of the bowl.
can a fuel pump somehow stuff up and be forcing fuels in? can i check that by taking off the fuel line and blocking it ...

hey yeah ive tried to have a bit of a search but couldnt get the right answers. so heres the problem.
its my gf's 92 auto vitara carby model and in the morning it starts but then sometimes stops when the accelerator is pressed but will start again straight away, you have to give it a few good revs ...

thanks, yeah had a bit of a read on the G13BB motor couldnt find much on that conversion but heaps about comparing the G16BB with them. but if Gwagensteve says its easier i believe him, so anyone know of a G13BB motor round northern NSW??? and about what price range for one???

the G13BB motor is that from a jimny? lots of people say thats better because the power with low revs, i dont seem to be able to find many of those engines for very cheap.

yeah i just done that uni, you just buy the spider (cross member) and comes with the bearing caps and clips. cost me $20 from a bearing shop, mine got worn out cos drove on the beach i think it rubbed out the grease and wore out the bearings and all fell out, this gave it free play so taking off it ...

with my swift (same engine) sometimes the electrics inside would work but tryin to start it it would only give one click but not even try to turn over, this was the battery terminals werent connecting good enough, would just have to give them a good twist to make a good connection. i your engine ...
