no idea havent even pulled it out yet i opened it up and its all in behind the pulleys so going to tackle that tomorrow
it could only be a bad belt or over tensioning as far as i can imagine will i need to compression test the motor first or is it best just to pull the head and replace all the valves

all good after some research i have worked out its a 300TDi for myself

just spoke to TRS they quoted 475 for the timing belt kit which seems alot but i may be wrong

ok im sure this has been asked a million times but how do i tell if my car has the 200TDi or 300TDi i have tried to find a way to tell but just got more confused
