I have a MQ rear LSD fitted into my GU front centre and then fitted into my GQ front housing..
It didn't take much to do and its wound up very tight . Does alot of stuff lockers have to be turned on to do . And does it easy as.. Hasn't efected my turning circle to much and i dont break CVs or hubs ...

could be cheap?

On my other Patrol it had a leak and it was a 2 bolt plate on the side of the pump .
E :) asy as to undo and replace with a seal from nissan for $13 .

It looked bad at first but turned out to be an easy fix.

I'm in Brisbane and mine had a small leak. I was quoted $900 if i took the pump off myself , which is a very easy job on a 2.8 . Mine has no cable going to the pump just wires. GU. It can be done cheap. I was told to also do the timing belt while the jobs being done... :)

Do Not Use Oil!!! It will swell the seals, use brake fluid only

Make sure you put some oil on the seals and pistons when pushing them back into the calipers. This will help ... :)

I have LSD front and back wound up very tight and can do almost everything my mates do with lockers . Plus i dont have to turn them on or off . I think the GQ or GU LSD s are a great set up, with less drama's . I am building up my next truck now and might consider lockers but after hereing about the ...

mine is ok

When i have a clutch done the boys in the shop put silicon all the way around the bell housing and fill the drain hole in the bottom. Also put some around the rubber boot for the clutch fork , I can sit in deep water all the time with no probs and have been doing it for years, A really good 4wd shop ...
