Can I soak it in carby clean without damaging it? The type that comes in a normal tin(not a spray).

I think supercharging would cost a heap for a new, reliable and properly set-up system. I wouldn't turbo a petrol 4B that I wanted for reliabilty but maybe that is just me. I have a 3.4 auto prado and wouldn't even bother towing large loads for any reasonable distance. Maybe it's time to sell both ...

My hilux= 12 front and 8 rear

My prado= 15 all round and feels like it should go lower but the tyres don't look like they will bag further safely so I leave it there and deal with the chees cutters it has.

Haven't read the thread but my opinion is auto's kick arse in the bush, I would have disagreed before I actually drove one.
