Taking the sump off in car?

Hi,

Can any one tell me how difficult it is to pop the sump off a 1hz in a 75 series with the engine in the car?

Have talked to 2 or 3 experts who say difficult too can't be done ...... but none have ever tried :roll:

Wondering if someone has done it and could tell me before i try as its my ...

Not an 80 ..... but

I made up a rear tube bar and twin swing away spare tyre carrier for my 75 series troopy.

The carriers fit 33's easy side by side and would probably fit 35's without touching.

i used 40nb thick wall pipe for the bar, led rear lights, two toyota trailer hubs to mount the spares (I have a camper ...

Ok next question

I've messaged the previous owner to see what gearbox he had behind it in the 75 cause it came with a brand new tough clutch so hopefully all the clutch hoopla is sorted.

Next question i have two potential options exhaust wise a 3" system from beaudesert at about a grand (me to fit) or a 2.5" system ...

just buy a wrecked or rolled ihdt and swap the lot.

Already have the 1hdt I brought from a guy who had it in a HJ75 ute.

Tobie, sounds like you've done the conversion? why the reason for the flywheel change? And you wouldn't know what the rear diff ratio of the troopy would be? I also got an air ...

1HDT into HZJ75

Hi all,

I've searched on here and had no luck but was wondering if someone can tell me how hard it is to install a 1HDT into a 94 model HZJ75 series troopy.

The car currently has a 1HZ in it and i think it has a H51 (?) box behind it.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Also if anyone can tell me ...

Turboed at 570k and still going at 790k thats what i like to hear :D

I don't have an issue with re-ringing, re bearing, boost compensating or even buying the kit from Denco (however i definately appreciate the tips :) )
