I have 31x10.5 wranglers and on my old 7" rims they would hit my springs pretty bad on full lock. I've now got 8" rims with -23 offset and they are perfect. It's still really close to hitting though, so if you wanted 12.5"s, you're gonna need pretty massive offset, which will bring on a whole heap ...

Yeah mate i daily mine. I haven't really broken anything serious yet and i've had the 31's and 6.5's in for almost a year. The only thing that's really gone wrong is my transfer case giving me troubles as i put the gears in myself without the right tools. I dont tend to drive it that hard though ...

Hey mate, im from rocky too. Mine's got 31 mudders, 6.5's and stock diffs and engine. This is fine as a daily driver and offroad (can hold 100 pretty easily), so a gti engine and lockers could only make it better. Definately have a look on Auszookers though

T-case spine from LowRange Offroad

As i just installed 6.5's in my t-case, i'm looking for some form of reinforcement. As rocktoy rings are no longer in production, i began looking elsewhere. I came across this http://www.lowrangeoffroad.com/index.php/suzuki/samurai/transfer-case/samurai-transfercase-spine.html at lowrange offroad ...

I know this is old, but it's in the bible so i figured i should post. I recently fitted some 92 swift bake lines to my car. They actually measure about 8" longer so i was quite worried. After putting them on and ramping up the car, the little clip in the middle of the line (which steve mentioned ...

Just went and removed the bolts and now theres no scrubbing  It's amazing how much extra turning circle can be gained by only a few mm of clearance.
Thanks alot for the info

Oh really, that's great news then. So that clip isn't crucial to holding the leaf pack together or anything? Can i remove the whole clip or just the bolt?

Extending steering stops to eliminate scrubbing

Hey guys, I just got some 31x10.5 wranglers on ROH 15x8 rims (second hand, so unkown offset) for my sierra. Some guard bashing and bumpstop extension has eliminated scrubbing in the wheel well, but my tires hit the rear of the front springs springs quite badly when approaching full lock. Im running ...

Different width rims front/rear?

Hey guys, my local tyre shop has a set of 5 second hand rims for my zook in good condition that i can get really cheap, however two of them are 8" wide and the other three are 7". The guy suggested that i could run two of the 7" rims in the front and the 8" rims in the rear, with the other 7" as a ...
