I am thinking of using this engine for a G60 conversion I want to do. But I have been told that these engines had problems and to prefer the 2.8 td. Is it true?

Hi Steve and thanks for the reply. The G60 is a wreck now, it will take much work to make it a real car. But it is very rare in Greece, I have just seen only one other yet. The Terrano engine I am talking about is about 97-00 model and puts out 125 bhp and 270 Nm. Other option is a 3 lt. from a ...

Hello from Greece, I am in the proccess of buying a G60 minus axles, suspension, transmission and engine (not much left really! ). For the axles I am thinking of using GQ, converting them for leaf springs. Other options are MQ, but a set I have found is with drum brakes on the front. Are the ...

Here is a friend's Pajero from a recent trial. It has a D44 front axle, GM14 rear, 3.0 engine and compressor, and coilovers. The tires are Simmex 36X12.5X16. The whole conversion was very succesfull and it is a very well balanced and capable car. http://www.off-road.gr/uploads/files/superspy/2007 ...

Hello,

I have a Grand Cherokee 1994 model. I have read that there is no Lo-range lock in models until 1996. Is there a way to confirm this? The t-case is an NP249 but how can I tell the difference with a one that locks?

5.9 are difficult to get here. And the 5.2 (318) lt. come with the 46RH (A518) transmission. I don't know if this engine can be used with a TH400.

adaptor for Jeep engine or transmission

Hi, I would like to ask if there are any adaptors either for the engine to transmission or transmission to transfer (LT 230). I've seen some stuff for Chevrolet products but none for Jeep. I am looking to use a Jeep engine, either the 6-cyl 4.0 or the V8 5.2 lt. to a Classic Range Rover. The reason ...

Large Pajero rear diff is 9.5" with 33.5mm and 31 spline axles. 80 Series rear diff is 9.5" (??) 33mm and 30 spline axles. The main difference is that the 80 Series is a full floater where as the Paj is a semi floater. So the 80 Series axles would probly be stronger overall but they can shear hub ...

Patrol Axles for Rover

the weak point in a rover diff is the ring and pinion if you are breaking parts BEFORE these, you have not got the most out of your rover diffs. you can fit longfield or cvunlimited 4340 cv's with 300m cages, run aftermarket shafts, maxi-drive and jacmac, better diff centers, arb, jacmac and ...

Range Rover has offset diffs front and rear (doesn't it?) Pajero is centred, Patrol rear is centred? Don't know if 80 series diffs are offset enough? Lockers for the (larger and stronger) Pajero 3.5 rear are hard to come by - ARB don't make one, and aren't planning to. Don't know if any of this is ...

I am seriously thinking the SAS idea, although nobody has done it before here (at least in a pajero). First I have to look for the right axle. The problem is the position of the differential (driver's side). I would prefer not to get involved with swaping if possible. I know that there are Dana's 30 ...
