Just got a set of extractors and 2 inch system (minus the cat) for 500 and i am very impressed. Gave me heaps more down low and also improved alot it at highway speed. Think it might need a cat though cause when i have the rear flap up, it gets very fumy inside, especially at low speeds through the ...

starting to get together some gear for a DIY snorkel, just not sur on how i will fit it up to my webber as the air filter is not boxed in. if anyone know best way to go about it or has any pics i will be interested in knowing/seeing how it could be done

extractors

ive priced exaust systems at a few places 2'' extractors and cant get much change out of 700. cheapest was 580 and they were gonna use the same cat. i personally think this is a bit much, just wanted to know what everyone else recons.

I will be puting another filter in asap and as for the air filter, do u mean from the top (not sides) or do u mean air filter that sits on top of webber. hope that makes any sense

problem has gone away now, running better than ever (touch wood) i put a bottle of caltex brand fuel system cleaner in with a tank of fuel, drove it to work for a couple of days, which all up was about 220 km of higway driving and not being shy on the revs and it seemed to have fixed itself up ...

I might try blowing out the jets first as ive only had the webber on since about september(brand new) last year, and lucky to have done 10000km.

Do you have to take anything out to blow the jets (sorry not carby educated)

Got webber aswell and it konks out sometimes on steep decents but u learn to adjust your style of driving to suit. Found the biggest prob is when it does stall, its a bit harder to start while ur still on the hill but overall think its a good option.
