Re: shorty driveline vibrations

I put a 3"-3.5" lift in my shorty and run drop boxes and 16mm longer lower arms which fixed my vibration completely.

GQ SWB Rear Sliding Frames

Just wondering if anyone knows where to get the SWB rear sliding frames in Brisbane..?

Nissan quoted just over $600 per side and haven't seen any on eBay lately just wondering if there's a cheaper supplier... (Not keen on fixed glass either)

Cheers

I've got a 3 inch lift in my shorty. Lovell coils and shocks. 16mm longer lower arms, drop boxes (they spaced the gearbox enough). no panhards. no vibration handles well on and off road. only 32" bighorns to keep it reasonably legal though..

SWB Vibration

Hey everyone. I've got a SWB with a 3" suspension lift (and 15mm packers in the back) and only 32" bighorns. I had drop boxes put in with the lift, and the car had vibrations so i put shorter rear upper arms from superior on (non adjustables due to being a poor uni student). A couple of mo...

i've got a SWB and put a 3.5" lift with drop boxes in mine, as it had bad vibrations and a grinding noise when decellerating from high speeds. i got shorter fixed upper ams (only cause they were much cheaper than adjustables) from superior and it fixed the problem.
