The bottom of the winch cradle is level with the bottom of the chassis rails, so that the winch pulls true to the chassis. dont have a side shot but will take some more on thursday when he brings it back down for the cage to extend around the bonnet. ( not sure what we are going to do there, any ...

I built the bar, and just wanted to know what people think of it.
The mounting is through the rails with crush tubes in the chassis, the end of the chassis has been capped off, plus a longer arm that goes back along the outside of the chassis, also the eyelets are SWL 3.8 tonnes.

yeah the retainers are different..

Just spoke to the guy at the zook shop, and he says their is no 4.6 for a zook, only 4.8, and 5.1.

after the mud run at willowglen, driving back to sydney my accelerator cable snapped cause it was jammed with mud, so i got one of the guide ropes( you know the real thin nylon ones) out of the tent, tied it to the accelerator arm on the carb, looped it over something, (so it pulled it up), ran it ...

I run 33" mudders on my zook diffs, i have a detroit rear, and a air locka front, i also have chro mo cv,s and hi tuff chro mo rear axles...

I give it a floggin, drive it like i stole it :armsup: :armsup: :armsup:

I have had no probs so far, (touch wood)

So my answer is yes, its possible....

Not straight away, but they wont last a long time...

my rims are engineered, they are not flipped, but just sunk further into the rim.
