Does a wide track body fit of a narrow track chassis?

The bottom of the winch cradle is level with the bottom of the chassis rails, so that the winch pulls true to the chassis. dont have a side shot but will take some more on thursday when he brings it back down for the cage to extend around the bonnet. ( not sure what we are going to do there, any ...

I built the bar, and just wanted to know what people think of it.
The mounting is through the rails with crush tubes in the chassis, the end of the chassis has been capped off, plus a longer arm that goes back along the outside of the chassis, also the eyelets are SWL 3.8 tonnes.

yeah the retainers are different..

Just spoke to the guy at the zook shop, and he says their is no 4.6 for a zook, only 4.8, and 5.1.

Just loopkin for some help with diff ratios.
After thinkin i was drivin a v8 commodore last weekend (but it was just the zook in the wet) i have smashed the pinion gear in my rear diff.
I went and bought a second hand centre, but when i got it home i counted the teeth on the blown centre and the ...

i rang them the other day and the guy there said that they only want to sell them to the guys with comp truck as they are to noisy to drive on the road.

I just bought a set of trail tough gears from the states, rock monsters, they cost me $1040 landed on my doorstep. all bearings and gaskets ...

Thats bugger all damage, just repair it...

Get yourself a leafy tcase and then buy yourself some reduction GEARING.

Just rivets on the visable sides, then bogged over, no pis of underside, just welded to the bottom of floor.

after the mud run at willowglen, driving back to sydney my accelerator cable snapped cause it was jammed with mud, so i got one of the guide ropes( you know the real thin nylon ones) out of the tent, tied it to the accelerator arm on the carb, looped it over something, (so it pulled it up), ran it ...

I was going to shave my diffs like the pics below on the weekend, but where is the drain plug?
How does he drain diff oil?

My shaved diffs give me 300mm on 32" Simex's. Same as Hilux on 35" Simex's

I run 33" mudders on my zook diffs, i have a detroit rear, and a air locka front, i also have chro mo cv,s and hi tuff chro mo rear axles...

I give it a floggin, drive it like i stole it :armsup: :armsup: :armsup:

I have had no probs so far, (touch wood)

So my answer is yes, its possible....

Yeah, if u go that wide you are bound to have bearing probs...
Not straight away, but they wont last a long time...
