Is it possible to move the driver seat any further back? The english ...

Jeeper considering Defender 110

Hi Guys....

As some of you may have noticed, i am selling my modified Wrangler and am thinking of getting a 1997 onwards Land Rover Defender 110.

What made me decide to get this vehicle is that it's so capable straight from factory. One cencern that i DO have is the lack of power for such a large ...

One word for ya that will beat BOTH of those applications

STROKER

Will go as fast as a turbo, have the torque of a V8 and the fuel consumption of a V6 (about 12l/100km)

That is why i said suspension and body lift together. I assumed that the installation of a body lift/suspension was for the purpose of installing larger tyres.

In regards to your reply DeWsE, body modifications like on Shane's Jeep would have to be scrutinised seperatly as i would really classify ...

Agree with you about the ratios just back to stock no advantage but realisticly how can you penilise people for ratios when you cant see exactly what been changed

Exactly :)

And in my model, you will realise that i have left out any scoring system for ratios for exactly that reason.

EDIT: I ...

kris great idea but you for got the dif and tran ratios as a mod but that can be modified to suit

I don't think these modifications impact the ability of a 4WD as much as the items listed. I mean....i've got 4.56 ratios and 35" tyres on my jeep. And there is little difference between that and ...

it's good that you got the 15x8 but what backspacing did you order them in?

the cheapesst way to fit 32's on a stock jeep is to get a Body Lift done. But in my opinion you would be better off getting a 2" OME kit as at least that way you can fit 32" tyres and also have increased articulation.

You will find it REALLY hard to get a 2000 TJ for $20,000. You will need to put an extra $2k in there to be honest.

Either way....good luck with the hunt.

You CAN buy a good 2000 TJ for 20K

I don't think you will have a problem. There is a guy here in Perth that has a 3" lift and 33" tyres.

He went over the pits without doing a lane change test and they passed him.

They didn't even take the car for a drive.

But is this lift noted on the mod forms?? I doubt it, therfore if he has ...
