75 series ute cab on swb gq chasis

Crazy idea and all what with the whole Romeo & Juliet side of the match up but a mate and I were toying with the idea of putting his 75 cab on my shorty chasis. His ute is just sitting there and my my beloved shorty is nearing retirement soon. Leaving the td42, gearbox etc and running gear on there ...

Re: King of the Rim (Competition) 16&17 July

I wont be there to help out but our Beauy SES unit is doing all the food so there is going to be your usual bbq food plus cakes, donuts and drinks and the like. Its a really good fundraiser for us (lets be honest, its getting harder and harder to afford a decent high classed escort that will do ...

The auto hubs are rubbish, I had mine crap out on me with 33's as well. Manual hubs still going strong after many years.
Luckily for you it will be quicker to swap the auto's to manual's then it will be to fix up the spelling in this thread

At the moment I have a 65L fuel tank in my GQ shorty, correct me if Im wrong but there were bigger tanks that came on the GQ's were there not? If so, is it an easy pull out/put back in job or are mounting points a problem? Got a road trip coming up and would like to upgrade tank size if I can as ...

As a SES corodinator in our area we use both. and HF appears to be more reliable ATM. Last call out we had three sat phones out with the land/air crew - and the HF, we got through - scratchy- on HF, nothing on sat phone. Historically in the same area sat phones have been poor though for some reason ...

ok.....I think I get it. You are swapping a buggy for a 2.8 diesel GU to get a 80 series that you are gonna put under some GQ diffs and then your gonna use the 80 series rear door to create an outdoor BBQ setting.

Did I get all that right :? :?
