i went form a 85dual cab to 86extra cab all i had to do is cut off the 2nd last mount and move it foward i also done a 85 dual cab to a 90 single with doing the same but with a diffrent mount

my 2.4 done the same thing but only worse! it would cough and splatter then eventully shut down. i found that the check-valve in my fueltank breather was stuck open and sucking in dirt/water in turn my fuel filter was completly plugged. after draining tank, flushing lines, extending tank breather ...

hey guys, have recently fitted locktup4x4 histeer kit into my hilux (LN65 2.4TD) which already had RUF... fitted kit as per instructions and it seems that the 2 histeer arms are too close together? looks as if axle upflexes the arms will cross eachother and hit? has this happend to anyone before and ...

hey mate, i had the exact same issue on my 2L. identical sound and missfire/ splutter. turned out i had a heap of water and dirt in my fueltank from fueltank breather being broken off. after cleaning fueltank, lines and replacing fuel filter it came good. i suggest start there maybe? fuel filters ...

hey guys, jus turboed my 2L and put a coolant guage on and coolant temp sits about 95deg C. jus wondering what the normal operating temp of a 2LT is, my cooling systems all new except viscus fan. my mates runs at about 80 - 85 dec C jus seems alot cooler than mine? any helps good, cheers.

got the turbo setup off stock 2LT so would assume its running that standard and on a NA engine which is higher compression probly safer haha, any ideas how long i could expect it to live?

hey guys, jus chasing any info. i jus turboed my 2L, standard size turbo running 4psi. running 4.88 diff gears n 35s. it goes insanely better, just wondering what fuel cons to expect? will there be any overheating issues? and how long should i expect it to last? engine has about 185 000ks and well ...

hey kids chasing better rear flex outta my LN65 luxxy, currently running efs 4" springs n 2" shackles with procomp 36" shocks with shockiebar.. flexes ok but jus chasin a little more to keepup with the front. any suggestions/help would be awsome, cheers. mitch.

heyy kids, havin dramas startin my 2.4l cold. checked the glowplugs n only gettin .5 - .6v at the plugs, jus wanna know where the glowplug solinoid is mounted ona 85 luxx, if their 12v or 6v plugs and a circuit description if possible. cheers for any help

zook suspension

hey kids, jus wondering with all the sierra guros on here. what is the best suspension set-up to put under a zook?? currently i have SOA, efs 65mm rears with shackles, and 2'' rears up front with shackles. flexes pretty good but can always be better. any comments would be appreciated.
