rangerover dash swap?

Maybe restoring a rangerover and just thinking..

Can a P38 R/R dash be fitted into a R/R classic (with some mods I guess) or for that matter how about other Landrover's (disco). I would think a soft dash would be best but its getting hold of one. Did the Australian R/R even get the soft dash. I ...

newbie question engaging 4 wheel drive on landcruiser 75 ute

How do you engage 4wheel drive?

Was looking at a car to buy and on the inspection neither myself or the guy selling couldn't engage 4h or 2 h after taking the gear out of 2 h. It just wouldn't go back in and the car wouldn't move. It finally went into low and then (much later after fighting with it ...

HIGH KM'S ON 3.5V8 1988 110?

Seen a 1988 110 3.5 V8 with 360000kms. Can they do this amount? How much life does it have left? What is it worth?

Not to sure if the old V8 can do high Km's. The guy says its been serviced reguarly. But that could mean anything.

Well I was after the extra height, hence the springs and suspension lift. I was under the impression I wouldn't be able to fit 31inch tyres without some kind of lift.
The suspension needs a good update all-round anyway, so Im going to do that and the tyres in 1

if you get the manual 1, i think it will yes ! As always with a bit of work. I had a 92 manual and they look about the same. Sometimes the transfer lever can be off set more in the early ones. Take some pics and a tape measure & wonder around the scrappers. good luck..

Got after market (sun riser) wheels on my 96 Pajero.. Not knowing anything about wheels & tyres.
How do I tell what size they are? ( I guess if I have to measure them, where?)
Also then how can I find what the maximum size tyre I can fit on them?

Sticky reverse gear

I have a 96 3.5 LWB pajero with low k's. Sometime reverse is hard to select, it goes in but not with ease, its not hard but not easy, if that makes any sense.
Is this a Pajero thing or do I have a problem?
