The biggest issue you will face on mud trails is diff clearance. When driving in ruts dug out by bigger tyred trucks I found I would drag my diffs along the centre until I eventually ended up beached with all 4 spinning. Get the tallest tyres you can fit (and afford). Anything above a say 30" tyre ...
