Outer Limits 4x4 Board

its a 1999 hilux 3Ltr diesal its got a dts turbo on it now it has no problem's gettin over 4000rpm in 5th. which is around 120kms!

Has anyone purchased an overdrive for a hilux?
Ive tried a search but had no luck, I can see plenty of rockhoppers or low range gears. The diesal lux has to rev to hard to just do 100km's and im gettin terrible fuel economy on trips.

Im thinking of removing the resinator box from the intake to make room for a second battery.
Its a 3.0Ltr Diesel 1999 turbo (aftermarket) and safari snorkel.
It has the metal air filter box (not plastic like 1998/1999)
Anyone done this?

I was thinking of taking out the resinator box to put another battery, will this bring on the noise? i have a safari snorkel and turbo but no major noise...

Thanks Phippsy, When i got it tuned on the dyno they wanted to take it back to 8psi? I said no, I thought i should be getting more power out of it, a mate has the same kit on his 2.8 and he beats my truck (maybe the 2.8 is more efficient?) does your truck overheat at high speeds? Whats a good pressure to run the turbo at? im runnin 10psi on a 3ltr diesel but am after some more power, was thinking 12 or 14? any ideas?

It runs ok and i had it tuned on the dyno with 76Kw(103HP) With 10Psi boost.
My question is, has anyone played with the boost to gain more power and has anyone fitted an intercooler?
