Does it have one shock facing the front and the other facing the rear ? It might just be the dampening action of the opposing shocks on the axle??

I've got'em on my GU Ute - They are about 1'' higher than standard fixed shackles, the height doesn't change when you pull out the pins - you take the pins out to allow the shackle to un-seat and extend when the ground conditions allow. If I get time I'll take some photos and post'em tomorrow. cheers,

If you have a LSD in the rear and you put a 2'' smaller tyre on the rear it will cause the LSD to be constantly slipping when driving in a straight line - This will reduce the life of your LSD, if it is an open center rear it won't hurt over a short distance (50 Klm) but it will make your spider gea...
