Seeing as I no longer have my Patrol and moved onto owning a Triton after the sale and then having my Ute stolen and written off by some maggot, :bad-words: I now have a 2022 Club Cab coming in January. Only a 10mth wait since I put my order in for it! So I just thought that I would start a ...

Saw one of these on Bribie Island on Saturday with a caged water tank and other gear, not that much bigger than an F100 really, just higher.

The truck I drive has a Narva 20'' bar on it and I'm more that happy with the performance of it. The tricky part is positioning the beam for maximum performance.

Get some chalk.
When the chalk absorbs the moisture, you just pull it out and put into the sun to dry out and reuse over and over.

Easiest way to check spottie bulbs is to connect straight to battery.

Re: Marine battery as a starting battery?
I don't have one as a cranking battery, I use it for my second battery for fridge and everything else.
Where I purchased it from, they said it was the equivalent to a 100ah but with a better cranking strength. (NZ70) From memory it is 650cc.
It is Century one purchased directly from them.

I can't help you with getting it going on gas, but I take mine to a bloke at Strathpine/Lawnton.
You turn right at Bob Janes then take the first on the left and he is up there on the left about 100mtrs.
Cost me $150 last time I had my Chestcold servied. (brown model)

Shame you don't live around Ipswich Brisbane, you can go to Century batteries at Carole Park and buy seconds. They have scratches or or moulding deformities on them for a song!! I got a marine battery that retails for $220 for $120 same size as a NZ70 or 100amh. :) I use this for my dual setup. I ...
