Either your windscreen surround has started to rust and the seal isn't sealing, also remove the panel in front of the windscreen behind the bonnet they fill up with sh.t and leak inside the truck from there.

I'm just seeing what you guys think of the factory rear locker that is on the gq ti's. Have you had any problems with yours when pushing it hard on the beach, mud or sand? I am thinking of upgrading and i can get a complete diff for less than half price of an air locker but if there rubbish i'll ...

From my understanding the 60 series is the natural diesel, 61 has the 12ht and the 62 is a petrol.

The cheap mig welders are rubbish, i'd personally buy a cheap inverter stick welder if your not looking at spending the money on a decent mig or a ac/dc tig. Your local tafe will hold courses that aren't that expensive and you can learn a lot from it. I know the boc store in Cairns will let you test ...

U will always loose a bit of boost pressure through an intercooler, you will have a bit more lag as you have lengthened the intake charge airs path.

If yours in pre 2003 it will fit but u will have to modify the support brackets on the radiator support as the 1998-2002 non intercooled had a wider radiator.

td42's suffer from a lot of aluminum electrolosis in the cooling system if regular cooling services haven't been done, timing case, thermostat housing and oil cooler housings are very expensive if highly corroded.. Thats the only concern i would have.

Without it your head pressure will get to high as there will not be sufficent sub cooling in the condensor and the a/c compressor will cut out for longer than it's on.

It may be that the starters you get are sad to begin with, really the only problem i've seen them have is sticking brushes. There is no need to go out buying new starters they are very easy to rebuild. My last cost me $50 in parts Hitachi S13-118A is the starter part number any electrical supplier ...

The problem is they get addicted to the lpg, like a engine with aerostart. If you put a restrictor in the fuel return you shouldn't have too many more problems, just keep running it on petrol and see how u go.

The shaft seal leaks on the pump. You will need a bearing puller to take the drive gear off, there ferkin tight.

A 1hz is a mechanical engine which hasn't got a computer the 1hdt does. 3" non turbo will just make noise, you'd be better off saving up for a turbo kit then do the exhaust mate.

Rust proofing works well or electronic rust proofing does also, all depends on your budget.
