iv got a set of 305/70/16 bighorns on my 100 series, i do most of my work on road, they are great on road, nice and quiet, and grip well, in wet and dry conditions. in the mud they work very well, and clear out good. as for wear i cant really comment, iv done 10,000 on them and they still look new ...

get it built, full manual, good clutch packs and bands. it will be bulit proof.
iv got one behind a 1000hp big block and it loves life.

dont do burnouts in reverse, it will kill it straight away!

last fill up, i tryed 2 stroke in the tank. 1L of oil to 80 L of diesel. iv done 500km, its made 0.000000% difference. engine sounds the same, doesnt go any better, still using the same amount of fuel. only difference is that it cost me $20 more for the bottle of oil to fill up. sounds like u are ...

WHAT ABOUT METHANOL?? Well how about you get some, and mix it with diesel, and let us know how it turns out. I didnt want people to add metho to the diesel in their tanks, and have it separate, and thus damage their injector pumps and injectors. T yeah ok, ill do that. iv got 150 L of methanol left ...

if you can get someone to show ya, an arc welder is the way, they are cheap, and if you can weld good there weld beads look better than a mig bead!

they are tricky to learn, but once you master an arc, learning a mig is a piece of piss!!

im keen to try the acetone, it makes more sence than the 2 stroke as a preformance gain, the mix for 80L is 120mls. im keen to see if it makes any difference, but at the moment im a non-beliver!

my 1hz has had a turbo on it for 100,000 now and still going VERY strong. so im not sure where this 50,000 stuff comes from. its running a dts kit with 15 psi, i do around 1000k`s per week. Finally someone not dreaming! 1hz can put out 150% for yonks as long as the cooling system and EGTs are kept ...

ohh k, thats great, mine sits on 2500 at 100 with the 33s.

it still makes good power at 2300, so towing should still be good.

iv got a 105 series diesel manual with a dts turbo kit, 3 inch exhaust and running 15psi.

it has 33 inch coopers on it and lookin to upgrade to the new bfg muds but in a 35 inch.

wanted to know what the rpm will be at 100 in 5th gear.

when i clean the methanol out of my carbys i soak them in clean premium unleaded. then i get some cheapo carby cleaner and give it a spary, then rinse it in the premo again, then everything gets a soaking in wd 40 to keep it all lubed up! the petrol will get all the oil, grese and crap off, but wont ...

on road they are good, in the dry they hold the road well, they struggle with gripping the road when its wet, espesially when trying to stop. off road they are great in the dry stuff, as soon as its wet and/or sticky, they clag up and wont clear. i think for what they are they are fairly noisy. cant ...

DO NOT PUT ANY BREATHER INTO AN ENGINE INTAKE AIRBOX!!!! i just got a 1hz. it has a dts turbo running 15psi. it hauls, lots of low down grunt. keeps up with our 80 series 1fz with ease.

toyota should have made a 100 series ute.
