I was wondering if anyone knew of someone who makes up bash plates for the underneath of 80 series cruiser? Im dropping mine down from a 5inch to a 3inch, will I still be able to run 35's? ok just wanted to get an idea of where everyones oil pressure is sitting on the factory gauge at idle. Mine uesd to sit 3/4 when cold and 1/4 when hot, checkec it wit a guage and found pressurs to be more than fine.(480kpa when cold and 250 kpa when hot). Where is it leaking, is it leaking ps fluid out or letting engine oil into the fluid. If its leaking ps fluid out it is a very simple repair and if your half handy you wont need a manual, just split the pump replace the o ring and bolt back together, if there is no eng oil in the ps fluid dont ...

How steep are you talking. Might help. 40 degrees plus, can only see sky. Dose any one have any tips on adjusting the hand break as ive done it how the book said(step by step) and it still wont hold. Gotta pull the leaver all the way up before it even looks like holdin on.....maby i need a new ...

but saying that i would stil have the disk arse end anyday.. i just park mine in low range all the time.

I got a gxl 80 turbo diesel and have found that if i park it in a pretty steep incline, put it in low range withe the hand brake on it will still roll back verry slowley.

mate go the 80 series chassis as two my mates have done it and both are approved in qld. Body mounts are not a problem as one of the rears is in the right spot and is able to be used a arefence point to place all the others.
