yea but i can get the walls made thick & also have a ladder bar that is lower then the shaft so things should hit that and slide off insted of the shaft. id rather take my chances with hitting the shaft rather then hitting the centre bearing which is gunna stop me rather then slide off

i know this question gets thrown around a bit but i cant seem to find some one with a 100% confident answer for it. I have a solid axle 2.8 lux and its got it lifted and im flogn out centre bearings (the rubber bit around it) i also get it stuck on rocks and rip the whole shaft in peices coz it ...

How do i tell if my speedo is a cable driven or mechanical? i need a recalibration on it because ive gone from 31's standard to 35's and its out approx 15 %. I hear i can get a box from marks adaptors but they need to know this. they tried 2 explain to me but i couldnt find anything. Please help ...

Im doing a crossover steering on my solid axle lux and i can figure out the parts i need but im unsure on what ifs power steering box i need.
what about a steering box off an IFS 4wd 1998 hilux surf. Will that do the trick??

Thanks for the info. Yeah i looked at the one peice shaft once before but then you have 3 problems. "1"- it cost approx $750 from what ive been quoted.. "2"- you then have lost your clearence coz it drops it down lower being one peice as you could imagine. "3" - being one peice rather then two you ...

Hilux Centre Bearing

Is there anything i can install on my lux to replace the centre bearing? im sick of replacing it every 500 kms because the shaft is on too much angle from the lift.
And its squeeking like crazy, does it have a grease nipple or just pack it by pushing it in?? please help. Thnx.
