As for the reset springs should they be cold rolled or hot rolled. Does anyone know which is best because there seem to be many conflicting opinions. I'll have to ask fourby's what they do. Anyone had any experience with fourby's reset springs? Cold rolled are the go if you're going to reset your ...

The larger tires (stock is 220/75/r15 if i remember correctly) are putting the speedo out.

You will need the speedo recalibrated, quite a few places do that.

I'd have no idea where you can get it done in brissy but you can fit a body lift if you have a few friends over, it's 6 bolts to get the body off (from memory) and you'll have to lengthen/move some lines (air con will be a bitch to do if you've got it). You'll need to extend your gear lever by a bit ...

Thanks for the heads up. That looks great mate! how much lift did it give you? and what are the shocks like, hard/soft ride?(I'm guessing you got the $390 set) will have to find out how much labour will cost :D It gave me 2 inches in the back and I've wound up the T bars about 30mm. The suspension ...

And by that I mean it's the max size for a feroza, not for all cars.

30 Inch tyres are probably the limit in terms of managing stock power vs. tyre size. I know in nsw the max. non-engineered tyre size is 235/75r15. A lot of us get around with those on. Most people wind the torsion bars to about 40-50mm (2 inches) and in doing so lose almost all of their wheel travel ...

Hello. The feroza's a great little beast and pretty rare, so modding it will definitely make you stand out from all of the zooks around. The downside of this rarity (plus it's age) means that there is absolutely NO aftermarket support and just about everything is going to be custom. To put it simply ...

Not sure on the maximum size as I don't have the tools to do it myself. MM would probably be the one to answer this.

rok, you'll only get lift from having a bottom ball joint spacer and you will get some gains although they are limited because you don't have much clearance to fit a large spacer. (mightymouse already said it...)

Wheel arches

Just a quick question.

Did they increase the size of the wheel arches (width) in later year model ferozas?

I see one or two a week and I swear some of them have bigger arches.

Might be paranoid, who knows :P

So a 25mm plate on the bottom arm will lift the front accordingly and I'll only have to wind up the torsion bars 25mm odd to even out the lift in the rear?

Still need a wheel alignment after that?

Ball Joint Spacers

Bought a 2" lift kit (minus torsion bars) from www.suspensionstuff.com.au ($890 + free postage interstate). Read around about ball joint spacers on this board (to reduce the amount I'd have to wind up the torsion bars) and there isn't much info. For those here that have them, can you remember the ...

Price check on suspension lifts & camshaft question

Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone has done a recent comparison on the prices of a 2" suspension lift on an F300 Narrowtrack (Leafs + IFS).

I'm also wondering if anyone's gotten a custom camshaft from Tighe cams and what your opinion is on them.
