Dana 70HD Rear (Bomb Proof) Disc Brakes .
4.88 Ratio Front & Rear.

How about I answer that one.

*Take the 44" tyres off it, put on 38.5" Tyres
*Take the wide offset wheels off it, Put on regular offset.
*Put the flares & Mud Flaps Back on it.
*Lock-out the rear steer for on road use.
*discussions with the engineer over a period of 6 months while building it ...

Go the auto. Up Hill especially. If you have enough reduction & de-stall your converter, down hill braking is as good as a manual.

Mine are not Michelins. They measure 52" by approx 15" wide. 24" rim. they weigh 198lbs each.
The XZL's weigh in at approx 350lbs.
Too Farking Heavy I think. Thats 60-70 Kg's Heavier

Pretty much. As long as the ring is welded correctly, then the tyre only goes in the centre.

Pete, does the inner ring 'self centre' on the rim to allow accurate assembly (prior to welding), or does the rim need the outer lip parted off. I like the beef of this kit, especially the 6mm outer ring.

The cost to build a Trailer is quite substantial.

The absolute best prices I got on axles were:

65mm axle with electric brakes 2.5T Capacity per axle. $900.00 ea
AL-KO were heaps more, about $1300ea

Complete Suspension System for Dual axle was approx $500-$700

Go for a Narrower Tyre for mud thats only about 1 foot deep.
