Outer Limits 4x4 Board

The sticker on the tappet cover it says 4bb1. I cant find much imformation on it other than its an earleir model than the 4bd1. I think the 4bb1 is a 3.6lt and the 4bd1 is a 3.9lt. Gday all, i have a 1978 hj45 with H diesel motor, cant start to explain how painful it is to drive! I also have an old ISUZU truck with a 4bb1 engine that runs very well, so i thought i would put two and two together. Has anybody done this before?

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the 4bb1 isuzu engine is like, i have one in an old truck and want to put it in my hj45. the motor is running beautifuly in the old truck.
