Looking at getting a turdo diesel prado and going for a coil SAS, any1 done this??
How would you get around the ABS? would it be possible to use as a abs epuipped landcruiser ute front diff (to get a simarlar WMS)
does the GX (base model) come equiped with abs?

i would go with ifs front especially if you are going with a pre-runner style front end.

There was a thread on Glamis awhile back by a builder who used two splined torsion bars (front ifs) joined together by gears that could be slid along to adjust the sway bar rate.

I'll try to find the thread and post the link up.

hey guys, been doing alot of reading on this and other forums (pirate, ih8mud etc) and was looking into custom front suspension.

the goals are clear;
car will be unregistered (no need for engineers etc)
solid axle front
coilovers etc

the aim is to compete in the finke, gascoyne dash, victorian ...
