Re: 4.8 Sub Tank Replacement
It depends on how much range your currently getting, and how much more you'll get with the extra 38 litres. You need to do the calculations for yourself. Its almost two jerry cans when you think about it?? I bought the 147 litre main tank and also changed the sub tank to a 70 litre, currently have ...

Hey Bogged
Unfortunately no one seemed interested in the idea, but I still went ahead and had a bonnet with light pod made up. The idea of geting more people in on this was that the overall costs would drop alot more. It would end up costing the same as fibreglass panels. I'm still keen on the idea if more ...

cheers stuee, the BB is still on the crate at the moment, looks like its going interstate. I've been speaking to a guy who wants to put it into his show car, therefore he'll get priority. This now brings me back to choosing an engine for the 4x4. I'm interested in the diesels, however I don't know ...

Struth, This engine is almost bullet proof, its built for the desert racing trucks that run full noise all day. The only difference is that this one has a mild cam in it, its not as lumpy sounding like the others. As far as reliability, its almost bullet proof provided I give it a regular service ...

Its such a mixed bag of opinions out there!! Faaaaaark, I thought this poll idea was gonna be simple. Part of the reason for this poll was to help me decide which engine to choose for my GQ Patrol. I've got access to every and any combination I want for my GQ, I just have to make a decsion ASAP. I ...

V8 engines for your 4x4??
I thought it was time to get a poll going about V8 engine choices for our 4x4's. There are so many mixed opinions and I thought it would be good to see if there was a preference for a particular setup. I've had heaps of different opinions from talking to people and most of the time, its always come ...

GQ CARBON FIBRE PANELS & DOORS
Hi Guy's, Just wandering how many of you would be interested in getting carbon fibre panels for your GQ's?? We are talking about 100% carbon fibre, no bullsh#t fibreglass mixed in etc The company I'm dealing with have been building carbon fibre products for over 15 years now; they build stuff for ...

Hey DanwinGQ, I used to have a GQ 4.5ltr with a turbo charger, it was great and comfortably did what it had too; like all petrol engines you always have to look into the waterproofing aspect?? However most people spend around $10,000+ on f'n around with a standard factory engine to make it better ...

Hey pom300, I guess it comes down to personnal preference, I have supplied over 70 engines to very happy customers. There's quite alot of them who run straight gas setups which will match the fuel effieciency of you're truck. I'm in the process of building up a serious truck, and I'm putting in a ...
