Thats right, they had a single 2 barrel carb.

That my friend is NZ's only home made and designed vehicle. The TREKKA! Based on a landrover series 2 [styling only if you can believe that!]. It was made from a combination of Skoda engines and NZ made stuff - they traded the engines for lamb carcasses [!] when the czech's were struggling under the ...

Yes the disco axle will swap over to your rangie complete. Ditch the Boge[us] unit as its probably not been working for the past 20 years anyway. The Disco runs higher spring rates in the rear to compensate for the lack of a boge unit so grab the disco springs while you are there. You won't miss it ...

Starters are not interchangable between Rover and P76 - an adaptor is needed as the mounting holes are different sizes. I managed to find a gear reduction starter for cheaper than rebuilding my old one though... The original stromberg WW carb is a POS and would not run on angles. I used the original ...

I too have had fat arse paranoia.... But now I am cured. Here is my story. Once upon a time I was winch bi*ch in a bobbed and chassis shortened Rangie. We were busy charging up a steep hill - foot up it - you know the routine When all of a sudden the front wheels hit a bump and got some air ...

The 764s ARE 220lb/in rated, the "correct" OME HD front 2" spring for rovers are the 751s which are 230lb/in, which are stiffer (by 4.5% ). Don't care what is says on paper - I used them based on the paper recomendation and they are too stiff And I like arguing damn it!!!!!!

Personally, I think 764s are way too stiff for the front of a Disco. You would want to have a lot of eztra weight up there. I find the same on the Rangie - 2 batteries steel bull bar and 8274 with steel cable and the 764's are still too stiff. I would try 180 - 220... Remember it also makes a ...
