Been a landrover convert for a number of years now, wouldn't go back to a nissan or toyota. If you shop around parts aren't badly priced. You'll get 33's under a D1 with a bit of lift & guard trim a D2 2" lift will fit 33's/285 easy.

A mate has a gen 1 diesal paj & wants to know if there is a front diff lock available for them. I've done a seach but couldn't find anything.

I ended up using the angle grinder on mine and cutting the pin between the hanger & spring, then replaced the pin.

Got home about an hr ago, first time there as a spectator instead of a competitor had an absolute blast of a weekend.

I recently rolled my lux :bad-words: .. doing damage to just about every panel. Mechanically she seems sweet and we have pushed the roof back out, but there is damage to the pillars. Is it worth trying to straighten out and spending some money putting an exo on her or just trying to get a new body ...

I was running 1.6 efi, auto, 6.5 t/fer gears goin to 4.6 diff gears made it so much better on 34's found I wasn't using low range as much off road, on road speedo was nearly spot on

You will get more shakle angle if you go shorter shakles , depending on how short you go it probably wont effect your down as it looks like your shackles are very close to straight up and down now.

I have dealt with Lovells in Sydney as well and was pleased with the end result. Still using the springs i had made up although vehicle hasn,t done much in the last 18 months the 3 to 4 yrs previous they got a good work out
