after some moderate wheeling noticed that my front wheels were somehow tilted inwards....
so passed at my local mechanic and he said that apart from some worn ball joints there was also an
issue concerning the angle of the outer tie track rod ends resulting from the 2" lift.
according to him ...

My plan is to swap the front diff of my V6 24v 3.0 Auto in order to install an ARB locker & thanks to the forum I have learned that I need an 8 inch diff of a manual V6 3.0 - 3.5 LWB.
How identify an 8 inch front diff or do all V6 3.0 + 3.5 manuals come with this one?

just found this about how to identify the diff on pajeros:

NH Pajero front diff is stamped KN5 and is 8 inch , and lockers are freely available for those.

these will bolt into the Deli no problem , you will need to shorten the front propshaft by 10mm to make it fit.

According to that link, it sounds quite easy to manage, but the hard part could be to find that 8 ich diff / driveshaft i guess.

I'm really annoyed by those spinning wheels, and just want to get two lockers rather than only one.

Yes the 8 inch diff bolts straight in. To do the swap you also need the 8 inch drive shaft as the pinion is longer and so driveshaft shorter.

Otherwise thats all you need.

Tread plate all cut for the deck and side skirts, fitted and bolt holes drilled.

Next step remove the tray and cage, drop off to the powder coater. Then we start on the cab, sand, fill & fair....then paint.

So far ARB offers only a rear locker for my Pajero, no front lockers for that model.

just as told by my friendly Mitsu mechanic, that one of my LH side rear brake pistons is stuck. He says that it cannot be fixed, he need to order a complete new unit and as he says further, it has to be renewed on both sides :?: even though the right side one is in perfect working condition ...
